Responsibilities:

  • Create and contribute to test architecture that assists in functional analysis of a large scale web application
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps engineers in implementing and measuring efficacy of functional and architectural changes that make our products more reliable, scalable, and fault-tolerant
  • Document, track, and report testing results of application performance and stability
  • Maintain and expand existing UI level automation regression suite proactively as part of our Continuous Testing
  • Execute both manual and automated test cases against delivered product(s) as well as troubleshoot and analyze results
  • Analyze data to look for trends, root cause, and other opportunities for implementing systemic improvement
  • Actively participate in requirement gathering sessions and give input on requirements and design documents for application reliability
  • Identify and document software defects in Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Abide by and follow software quality assurance standards, processes, and controls as they pertain to SDLC

Required Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent. 
  • Must have current design and development experience in Java or C#
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of typical multi-tier application architecture (presentation, logic, data)
  • Solid Computer Science and well-rounded engineering skills and equivalent experience
  • Solid experience with Microsoft SQL and/or Transact-SQL
  • Knowledge of XML and web-based SOAP/RESTful services
